Born in Croydon, South London Jake studied Graphic Design at St. Martins School of Art and after graduating began shooting for influential London magazines including The Face and Arena. He moved to New York City in 1999, where he continues to work on commissioned portraits, personal projects and advertising campaigns for clients such as The Hollywood Reporter, Empire Magazine, HBO, Apple TV and IBM. Three of his iconic portraits from The Face Magazine were recently included in The Face Magazine: Culture Shift at The National Portrait Gallery in London and his work is part of the permanent collection there.
